Dr. Franz Salm-Reifferscheidt

Born 1944 in Vienna, grown up in Upper Austria
Highschool and University, graduated Dr. Juris
7 years in Bayerische Vereinsbank, Munich and Bankhaus Spängler, Salzburg
30 years HIPP Babyfood, member of the board and responsible for Eastern Europe.

Married since 1970, 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

Knight of the Order of Malta since more than 50 years.
Appointed as “Ambassador at Large for Roma People” in September 2013.
In this function responsible for the integration of the biggest minority into our civil society and supporting the Relief Organisations of the Order through these activities.
The second part of the work for Roma is PR and fundraising.
Since September 2013 Ambassador Salm supported and built up – together with the local relief organisations 22 Roma centres and 3 more will follow in the near future.

Working with Order Associations and organisations in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine, the Ambassador instigated 22 projects and activities for Roma communities. All projects continue to develop and expand across all these countries.
